Morphing mistakes: Head sizing

Description

Well let's start this series! Ok, this has got to be one of the biggest problems when it comes to head swaps on DA head sizing is key, and even if it's a bit off it's no big deal. However, because of Violet's hair in the 05 sequence, you can get a lot of the images you see above me: making the morph and trying to hide the hair. As a result, the morph looks like crap. What I call "oversized Blueberry Bobbleheads" can happen if you don't keep violets head in line! However, I'm here to tell you how you can avoid this massive problem and get the image you see at the bottom! Here's the secret: Morph violets head using a program! Here's several option you have when it comes to that:
1: I have personally uploaded morph templates onto my account as a sort of 500 Deviation marker. I have ten with 71 and 05, so you can choose your style you want. Just save the templates, and then the sizing should be much easier!
2: do it yourself. This is if I don't have the images you would like. To do this, you'll either have to edit the head out or liquefy it smaller. I did the first option just recently, as it allows for a greater quality once the head is removed. I'm not gonna tell you exactly how to edit the head out using liquefy, because you just kinda squish it with the tool till it looks majorly smaller. For a better option with better results, open up your friendly neighborhood photoshop (or gimp if you need it free, however I use a free Photoshop fix app on my I pad). From here, use the spot heal and clone stamp tools respectively to get the desired effect. Now I'm not gonna hold your hand and tell you exactly how to reach these tools, because I know something that can answer all your questions with ease: Google. I'm telling you to use the spot heal and clone stamp tool. If you wanna know how to use it: Google. If you want to know the equivalent if your program doesn't have those exact tools: Google. You see the pattern? I'll lead my horse to water, but I won't be able to make it drink. Any bigger questions on this can be asked below.
Anyway I hope doing this was helpful to some of you! Big heads is a huge problem in morphing, and I just hope now it's a bit easier to avoid thanks to my guide. Next time I cover another huge issue that's sometimes even more prominent than bad heads: rough edges!
