Modern Violet beauregarde: in 2016

1. Hair: I found Violet's hair color to be perfect, but the main reason for me doing this whole page is to create more variations of the hairstyle. I really, really hated how Violet's hair looked in the 05 movie, so I knew I had to fix it.

2. The clothes: not as big as the hair, but the clothes Violet wore in 05 were fairly modern, but not quite at my standards yet. I had to work together a modern outfit with minimal effort.

3. And the biggest problem I had since I was young- the age: I read the book in fourth grade, and I was shocked by how differently the book made me see Violet. I thought she needed to be older, especially in the movies. I pictured her as one of the oldest kids wonka got a hold of, somewhere in her teens possibly. At least not ten.

After a half an hour of work, I made my modernized Violet. Kiernan shipka is the girl I used for the image, being around 16 years of age in real life. The age of 14-17 was what I was looking for in my version of the character, so I fulfilled that while also lengthening the hair and changing its style slightly.  The clothes were very easy, picking a modern light blue nike sweatshirt as her top. Throw a few editing tricks in along with a background from the 05 movie, and I finally created the perfect modern version of Violet I wanted for so long. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
